“This was by far the best cottage we have booked.”

what a stunning renovation you can see the high quality work that's been done. On a comfort level wow brilliant, the furnishings etc superb, hubby is over 6ft so a nice long 3 seater sofa for him and the two seater for me, the bed was huge and so comfy we slept really well, it's a nice peaceful spot to stay, we will definitely book again. So cosy on arrival as it was a chilly old day, our first words where "wow" stunning. Due to the time of year which we appreciate only one local pub was open ...

So cosy on arrival as it was a chilly old day, our first words where "wow" stunning. Due to the time of year which we appreciate only one local pub was open which was a good old proper pub The rose and crown and the food was lush. An excellent way to spend hubby's birthday and our 43rd Wedding Anniversary xx

Hi Mark and Debby, Thank you so much for your amazing feedback; it genuinely means a lot to us. We’re absolutely delighted to hear that the cottage made such a strong impression from the moment you walked in, especially on a cold day. We're glad the comfort levels hit the mark too and that the sofas suited you both perfectly. The bed is amazing isn't it. Once again, thank you for your lovely comments; they really do make all the effort worthwhile. Property Owner

About the location

FLAMBOROUGH

Bridlington 4 miles; Filey 7 miles; Scarborough 18 miles.

The pretty village of Flamborough occupies a superb setting, perched on a picturesque peninsula on the East Coast of Yorkshire, 4 miles from Bridlington. Housing traditional fishermen's cottages and a small selection of welcoming pubs and restaurants, Flamborough also has much to offer the rambler, historian and birdwatcher. There are spectacular cliffs, which form an eight mile stretch of Heritage coastline, and at Flamborough Head, stand two historic lighthouses, one of which is the oldest one in Britain, built in 1674. To the north of the village, the magnificent 400 feet high cliffs are home to one of the largest colonies of nesting sea birds in England. Discover the puffins at Bempton, follow the fascinating natural trails at South Landing and the wooded ravine at Danes Dyke, or explore the smugglers’ caves at North Landing. Enjoy a spot of fishing or a boat trip to explore the sea caves. Flamborough Head is a wonderful place for anyone who enjoys beautiful coastal scenery and bracing sea air.
