“What an amazing week we have had.”

Such a gorgeous cottage. Comfortable, spotless and modern. Everything we needed. Nothing was lacking. Although couldn't find a bottle opener. The room with the dining and kitchen area was stunning. Enjoyed spending time in that room having meals and playing games with my family. The room with the dining and kitchen area was stunning. Enjoyed spending time in that room having meals and playing games with my family. It was so sad there was a massive moors fire happening during our stay resulting in the area and cottage being shrouded in think smoke which got into the house and was pretty toxic for a day or so. That was just unlucky. If the cottage had not been so perfect we would have gone home but we were having such lovely time we tried our best to ignore the smoke. Luckily the amazing firefighters and local farmers got ont top of the blaze. Again this cottage is stunning amd the surrounding area is amazing. So much walking and adventuring to do. Gorgeous villages , scenery and adventures. We will be back.

Many thanks for the very positive review despite being in the area when the moors fire was at its height. Thankfully as you mentioned the fire was quickly under control but the smoke was very unpleasant when the wind blew towards the coast. The kitchen extension and replacement garden room has really enhanced the cottage and we are pleased that you liked it. Apologies about the bottle opener, we are glad that you bought it to our attention. We looked in all the cupboards and couldn’t find it either so we have replaced it. We hope to welcome you again soon. Thank you once again. Property Owner
