“On arrival, everything looks perfect, logs provided as listed, but only 1 firefighter and no matches.”

The fridge has a broken shelf on the door, where milk and bottles should go, but we managed ok. The shower screen support bracket is loose, insecure, and could potentially be a danger if left in this condition. The log burner was full of ashes, and burnt wood, obviously not been cleaned or emptied it out since last used, we had to clean it before we could light it. The log burner was full of ashes, and burnt wood, obviously not been cleaned or emptied it out since last used, we had to clean it before we could light it. In the cupboard with the dishes, there were a large spider inside one of the dishes, complete with web, and one of the smaller cereal dishes has a dirty crack in it. Also, the burner for the hot tub was full of ashes too, this had to be emptied out and cleaned before use. On the whole we were pleased with the welcome pack, dog biscuits and bucksfizz etc. We would like to say, we actually left the cottage in a cleaner condition than we found it, hence we were actually 10 minutes past the checkout time before we left.
