Owl View is a charming brick cottage situated in lush farmland with far-reaching countryside views; this lovely property is ideal for a family escape to the heart of North Yorkshire.
Enter the gorgeously renovated farm building, decorated to a high standard with top quality fittings and an airy feel throughout the spacious abode; the open-plan living space welcomes you with a kitchen, dining area and lounge space, alongside classic brick walls and exposed wood beams.
Spend an frosty winter's morning sprawled on the snug corner sofa, enjoying a cup of tea whilst you flick through the channels on the wall-mounted TV for a family film.
The rest of the room is beautifully coordinated with blue and grey hues, with the well-equipped kitchen boasting fantastic amenities including a fridge/freezer, oven and hob, dishwasher, and washing machine, all of your meals can be enjoyed on the lovely breakfast bar.
Unwind in the luxurious private garden area found through bright bi-folding doors, popping open a bottle of fizz as you step into the bubbling jets of the glorious hot tub, you can even breathe in the fresh country air as you enjoy an afternoon reading break in the seating area, overlooking the verdant lawn and scenic countryside views.
After a full day of exploring the nearby beaches and landscapes, retire to one of the delightful bedrooms, with quirky yellow moose-themed bedding, and ample storage, the double room boasts it's very own en-suite shower room, whereas the twin room has full access to the family bathroom, home to a spacious bath with an overhead shower, and a welcoming heated towel rail which will be much-needed on a crisp morning.
The surrounding village of Lebberston is a lovely rural destination offering a peaceful base for your seaside holiday, home to a quaint Sunday market between March and September, surrounding farmland, and a historic village Inn.
When you're in need of any shopping essentials for your self-catered stay, Cayton has a wide selection of shops and pubs to choose from, with a fascinating heritage dating back to the Second World War, try and find all of the hidden eroded gyms dotted around the village.
Journey over to Scarborough, the vibrant resort town has plenty to offer, including the Rotunda Museum, a SEA LIFE Centre, Luna Park and Alpamare waterpark, and the stunning Peasholm Park, this lovely spot also hosts all the delights of a traditional seaside holiday, such as seafood stalls, fish and chip shops, ice cream parlours, and beach huts along the golden sands.

Place should not be visited because it will reduce our opportunity to rebook . Theres a private road access and apart from a few vehicles that’s the only sound apart from sheep in nearby field . As the sun goes down the view from the jacuzzi is of isolation . Furniture is very modern and low for aged folk to get up from . Heating is amazing if you like to sweat at night . So if you like isolation and the sound of your own voice and a hot night and are young this holiday is for you . Seriously we loved the place but don’t want to reduce our chances of rebooking , it was a delight we comprised two 70+yr olds and two 50 year olds who made up the group with two dogs. It’s a place we would certainly love to revisit . But please don’t book before we do .

Set in a peaceful setting, where you can completely relax and just enjoy the quiet. Lovely walks for the dogs from the doorstep which they loved, they also enjoyed the enclosed garden. We will definitely be looking to return to this lovely setting.
What a fabulous little break and lovely accommodation.
I visited to stay here for 3 nights with my dog and the surroundings and location were perfect. The beach is a 7 minute drive away which was great. The lodge was exceptionally clean and had everything provided on arrival including cleaning products and extra kitchen items (foil, towels, cloth's. The outside area was great as the garden is large and fully enclosed meaning I could relax in the hot tub without worrying about my dog. The bed was comfortable, all TV's are smart TV's and the internet worked great for such a secluded area. The overall experience here was excellent and even when I had a minor problem, after a short phone call, someone was at the property to assist me,within a mere 2 minutes. Glad I found this little gem, I will definitely be back
A really well turned out conversion of a former barn.
Very comfortable with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Plus the hot tub! Don’t be put off that it seems out of the way…it’s very quiet, and local attractions and amenities are within easy reach. Highly recommended.

Spotlessly clean! Only slight negative was the sofa & bed were very low but that was just personal opinion! Location was as described. Very peaceful. Had an issue with the TV, phoned the owner in the morning & by the evening the TV had been replaced. Very prompt & reactive! Would definitely stay there again!
Accommodation was excellent and really suited our needs.
Peaceful and isolated - so our dogs barking did not disturb anyone. The views were also excellent and the Hot Tub was very much used. The only thing we have to mention was that the oven was less than what we would expect for cleanliness. We also found a perfect beach at Hunmanby Gap, where we could park. Parking at Filey which would have been nice to visit was pretty non-existent. But the Tesco store there suited our needs. All in all, we would highly recommend this property and probably one of the best we have been in.
Our stay at Owl Cottage was absolutely lovely .
Accommodation was top class and everything was maintained to a high spec , to even lovely ornaments and pottery . Hot tub was a bonus after long walks . Arrival package was a nice touch and I would definitely recommend this cottage. Owners very responsive and helpful for any queries or advice .
Just got back from a fabulous week at Owl View.
We have a reactive fox terrier rescue and this accommodation is just perfect! The accommodation is very comfortable and has all you need to enjoy a week in the Yorkshire countryside. Close to all amenities with both Scarborough and Filey really close by. We will definitely be returning!

Beautiful holiday cottage, very clean, comfortable and well equipped.
Two lovely outside areas totally secure and enclosed which are perfect for dogs. Very peaceful but just a short drive from Filey and Scarborough for anything you need. Owners are nearby and quick to react if you need them at all, lovely bottle of Prosecco on arrival as well as milk in the fridge. Would highly recommend this cottage.

A lovely modern property, with a well equipped kitchen. The property was spotless with plenty of throws to place on sofas if needed. Both the garden areas are fully enclosed, with the rear fence being about 4 foot high so it was perfect for us to feel completely comfortable for our dog to roam, whilst we soaked in the hot tub. We were blessed with very hot weather and for the first time ever I had to ask the owners to drop the hot tub temp slightly, which was no problem. Only issue with the hot weather was at night because the main bedroom only has a tiny window in the slanted roof, so it was very warm and hard to sleep. If I could add anything to this wonderful place it would be an aircon unit for the bedroom. But it certainly wouldn’t stop us from visiting again. It was lovely and peaceful, set on farmland but with no other properties or animals nearby. The hot tub was amazing with sunset views. A great place to stay and allowed us to visit so many wonderful places nearby including Cayton Beach - best dog friend beach!, Robin Hoods Bay, Whitby, Castle Howard, Filey beach and some country parks and national trust locations.
We loved Owl View, it had everything we needed for a lovely break but also not far from some great beautiful East coast favourites.

Wanted to book a stay here for ages and so glad we did.
Totally understand why it’s always booked up. This is a fabulous place, on its own yet not far from shops, beaches and places of interest. Enclosed courtyard and garden great for pooch, nice sun loungers and chairs provided to sit and enjoy the bit of sun we eventually had.Our pooch is a bit anxious and Owl View was perfect for him as it really is on its own, enclosed and with only the occasional passing farm traffic. Terri and Martin have thought of everything to make for a comfortable stay and they are great hosts.Easy to get a Tesco grocery delivery if you want but only 10 mins drive to Filey. Ticked all the boxes for us. Would love to return!
WHAT A BRILLIANT FIND.
The property deserves at least 10 stars. So very lovely and comfortable, short of absolutely nothing. Perfect for our dogs, plenty of free space for them. The area is so secluded, private, and peaceful. Martin and Terri were the perfect hosts, so helpful and friendly, and not intrusive in the least. We visited their baby highland cows, but unfortunately didnt see any owls or deers this time. Will defo return in the future and will be recommending to all our friends and family. Sorry to hear bout the duck eggs Terri !!!!!
Fabulous accommodation, clean and extremely comfortable.
The garden to the back and the courtyard to the front was secure for our two dogs and the hot tub and sun loungers were a bonus for us! Owl View is so peaceful yet close enough to plenty amenities with a 10 min drive. The owner Martin popped down to meet us (really nice guy) just to let us know he was there if we needed anything. Loved our stay so much will be booking again.

The cottage was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was lovely to come back to after our days out exploring. Everything you could possibly need / want was at hand. A lovely bottle of fizz and a bottle of milk was a lovely welcome gift too! We met the owner Martin who popped in to make sure everything was ok. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!
Wonderful cottage in perfect location for a chilled out and relaxing break.
Cottage was of a very high standard with all the amenities you could need and the hot tub was the perfect way to end the day watching the sun go down, bliss! Highly recommend this cottage and especially to dog owners due to the perfectly enclosed garden and courtyard.
Lovely clean house away from all the hustle and bustle but close enough to civilisation to keep yourself amused and stocked up with food and drink.
Great hot tub, great decor, all the mid cons and the warmest house I've ever been in. Martin is a very friendly owner and the milk and bubbly on arrival are nice touches. Dog friendly too. Filey dog fields were a godsend. Couldn't recommend enough.
Excellent comfortable stay.
Lovely to be warm and have everything to hand. Our 2 dogs loved the new smells and access to yard and garden. Owner very helpful with any requests. Only one extra id suggest....A none slip bath and shower mat would be great. Towels, beds, bedding all great. Very well designed property and lovely arrival gift of prosecco, milk, coffee, sugar. Fab Tvs and Internet worked well. Hot tub is amazing, so warm and wonderful this time of year when the air is cold. Oven, microwave, washer, dishwasher all Excellent. We were happy to stay in relaxing. Area is fab as isolated cottage.....without being isolated. So close to Filey, scarborough, cayton, shops etc. Thanks for the wonderful stay. We will definitely use again.
Absolutely lovely property, very warm and beautiful in a nice setting.
Had a few issues with the WiFi which Martin the owner sorted out very quickly. We were provided with milk in the fridge and wine which was a lovely touch.
We have stayed before and the accommodation is immaculate.
However the reason for 3 and not 4 stars is that on Thursday afternoon th e owner came round to see if our stay had been good and advise they were draining the hot tub at 8.30am the following morning to allow time to get it ready for the next booking! When we went to use the hot tub on Thursday evening the temperature had been reduced and it was too cold for us to use (I assume in preparation for the draining)We then could not use the garden in the morning until after 9.15 when the draining was completed as someone was out there carrying out the drainage. We had to leave at 10am. We didn’t have use of all the facilities for our holiday period and this was disappointing especially as we couldn’t use the hot tub on Thursday. We absolutely love this accommodation and May rebook. It just felt that we should have had full use until the 10am we had paid for.

We were a family of 4 and three dogs.
Owl View met all our needs and the enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs. The property contained everything we needed, although secluded (which suited us perfectly) all amenities were close by. Great area to explore countryside and coast.

Nicely secluded. Close by to costal areas. Fully equipped property and just immaculately clean. Great walks with the dogs. I could not recommend this place highly enough and so pleased we managed to get in. I can fully understand why this place gets so booked up. Well maintained and an added bonus withe views and hot tub. Anyone staying here would not be disappointed.
Terri and Martin are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them pictures do not do this bungalow justice courtyard and garden are sun traps and the dogs loved it too so secure bungalow had everything you would need for a great break stress free easy to get filey.

Our second visit to Owl View, with our 3 dogs.
The cottage is fantastic, but a king size bed would make it even better. Cayton Bay beach is lovely for a morning walk. We visited Filey, Bridlington and Whitby. The hot tub was well used even though the weather wasn’t that kind. We would recommend trying the fish and chip shop in Cayton, excellent. The owners are very approachable and available if required. The bottle of Prosecco was a very nice welcome gift.
Owl view was an amazing beautiful barn conversion.
We had everything we needed. The accommodation was lovely and private but only 5 mins away from the sea so best of both worlds. We will definitely book again
This was our 2nd visit to owl view and once again it did not disappoint on anything except perhaps that we still didn't see the owl but that's nobody s fault was just as we remembered it from last time with a couple of extras we noticed which were the two lounger chairs in the back garden and a large potted plant in the lounge area.

Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. A credit to the owners hard work. Very secure and safe garden and courtyard for our dog. One of the best have stayed in and look forward to our next visit which already booked.
I think I found my heaven .
Owl view was everything I was looking for and more . Surrounded by fields for a quiet and peaceful relaxing holiday but only ten minutes away from the seaside town of Filey. Every dog friendly no escape for Henry my German shepherd. Courtyard to the front and grassed area to the back all walled and fenced off. Perfect .I will definitely be booking again for next year .

The cottage is very comfortable, furnished stylishly and is well equipped. The hot tub was fantastic - we used it several times each day! The cottage is well located, making it easy to visit Filey, Scarborough, Flamborough Head.

Everything we needed - well equipped, well maintained and very clean.
We had no issues with the hot tub at all, which is such a bonus because its such a let down having to contact owners to have temperature adjusted etc when you just want to relax and enjoy. No such problems here! Very friendly and helpful owners on hand if needed. Can’t fault this little property at all.
A lovely weeks' stay at Owl View.
We have never booked through Skye's cottages before always using Hoeseasons for seeking out luxury hot tub lodges. We also always go to North Wales, so this was a first on accommodation and area. We were not disappointed. Owl View was immaculate and so noticeably clean when we arrived. Very comfortable with everything needed to make for a great stay. Our Jack Russell adored the underfloor heating as did we when we came back from cold walks. The hot tub was great and Martin was very responsive when we asked for the temperature to be increased slightly as the cold wind reduced the temperature quite quickly. Martin came out promptly and increased the temperature which made the hot tub just perfect. We loved Filey the local town, which is so dog friendly. We enjoyed Caton beach for walking the dog early mornings on a empty sandy beach. Can recommend walks to the lighthouse and from Cayton beach to Scarborough. A visit to Whitby is a must and not too far away. York is also worth the drive to visit particularly the Railway museum which surprised my husband and I on how much we enjoyed it. Overall can highly recommend Owl View, we want a return visit but as with other feedback comments, it is so popular it maybe that we cannot book to return until next year. I would highly recommend.

Excellent place to stay.
Our second visit and returning in May for our third. Uilra secure garden and front yard for our dog. Stay here and you will not be disappointed. However be warned if bringing your pooch to avoid fireworks. We thought would be remote enough and we were wrong. This no way reflects on owners or property, our mistake. Just a warning for others.

It was a delight to stay in this property for a week, there is nothing you can fault.
The property as everything you need, the dogs was happy as they could roam in the secure garden and courtyard, location perfect as it was nice and quiet to chill and you didn’t have to venture far to stunning beaches and surrounding.

Perfect for our new little family and dog loved it! Has everything you need and it was so hot we asked for a fan for our 6 month old and was provided one straight away. We would definitely recommend staying here and will likely book again!

it was lovely and peaceful ,scarborough filey whitby filey and bridlington all within easy distances.great hot tub to relax in and a really dog friendly secure and safe garden which our fur baby loved .had fantastic afternoon tea in the garden of the stained glass centre too.all in all a fab break and would definitely go again if there are any free dates !

Fantastic, very private property, with glorious views and first class facilities.
Owners very approachable. Perfect for our 3 dogs, either a large paved area at the front or grassed area at the back. Garden seating at both front and back. Hot tub is well maintained and lovely to relax in to watch the amazing sunsets. Walked every morning on Cayton Beach which is only 2 minutes away and dog friendly, worth the steep climb up and down. Robin Hood's Bay, Filey, Flamborough and Old Town Bridlington are all worth visiting. Can't recommend Owl View enough, already booked for next year and we have never visited a property twice.

This is our third visit to Owl Lodge and would highly recommend it, 5*.
It has everything you could think of, it's very clean and comfortable and safe and secure for your pets. Has amazing views especially from the hot tub on an evening. The owners are always on hand with any queries you may have and on the whole, a truly wonderful place to stay .
The cottage is perfect for dogs as there is no one nearby and both the front and back are secure.
It was very clean and well maintained. It’s close to Filey and lots of other dog friendly attractions. The only improvement would be for the second bedroom to have zip and link beds so that it could also be a double.

This was our second stay at Owls View and everything was just as spectacular.
The accommodation is immaculate and extremely comfortable. The beautiful barn conversion is so cosy with it's underfloor heating (which is not always needed particularly if the sun is out which warms the property through the gorgeous bi-folding glass doors). The location is secluded and offers spectacular views. Within easy reach are the beautiful beaches and cliff top walks. Equally there are many walks direct from the doorstep. The hot tub was a welcome treat at the end of a days walking. The enclosed courtyard to the front of the property and garden to the rear offer a true safe space for the 4 legged friends of the family. Our Weimeraner (and ourselves) really appreciated this feature - outdoor lights allowed us to watch him during the darker hour. The owners are so friendly and accommodating and living close by are able to respond quickly to any issues. We would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to explore this beautiful area.

Warm and cosy. Super clean and comfortable. 4 adults and 2 doggies . We’ve had the best time this past week … cold but mostly sunny and dry days. The cottage has everything you need … with enclosed areas for dogs to play. Fantastic hot tub is a treat . Can’t wait for our next visit … The owners are very helpful and friendly and nearby. Loved it - ❤️

We’ve just returned from a fantastic stay at Owl View.
The cottage was immaculate on arrival, and we really appreciated the bottle of fizz left for us. Facilities are modern and very comfortable, and lighting is cozy in the evenings too. We made good use of the hot tub after a day’s walking and were impressed with the views of the countryside but also the garden is very nice and private. The cottage feels very “off grid” in an incredibly peaceful setting, but yet very convenient for the towns of Scarborough and Whitby, and we enjoyed a walk to Cayton Bay. Have had a very relaxing, chilled time in Owl View and would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

!! So peaceful and relaxing, great get away from day to day life! Really enjoyed the beautiful views, hot tub and outdoor space for the dog. Close to the seaside for nice walks and fish and chips. We were lucky to have clear skies so the highlight was definitely relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings looking at the night sky full of stars. Even saw a few shooting stars. Would definitely recommend!! Owners also really friendly :)
Lovely cottage: warm, comfortable and spotless, and equipped to a very high standard.
The setting is exceptionally peaceful and secluded with open views at the back, and secure areas for a dog to explore. Great beach at Cayton Bay in walking distance, with lots of other places to visit on the coast nearby. Dalby Forest also well worth a visit. Hope to stay here again.
Fabulous!
We stayed over bonfire weekend as we always go away each year but our first stay here. You could hear a few fireworks in the distance but nothing that upset our dog so unless you have a very fearful dog you'd be fine. We came inside and put the TV on and she didn't bother at all. I hope this helps anyone who likes to get away from all the bangs nearer home which are awful. The restoration done on this place is amazing and a credit to the owners. It was spotless and smelt lovely (so much so I've bought the same plug in air freshener!). Terri popped along to say hello when we had just arrived and was a text away if we needed anything. We like being left alone on hols so this was fine. The welcome info states that the hot tub will be attended to each morning at 6am but one of us was up with the dog so not sure if they did do this; the hot tub remained clean & had the filter bits in so maybe they don't do this now. Loved the underfloor heating so it was toasty and warm after the hot tub. We saw deer in the field next to us one morning. Comfy beds, could actually do bigger ones as lots of room and they had lovely quality bedding on. Lots of cleaning and washing equipment provided by the owner and large plentiful towells. The knife and oven tray which the guest before us had commented on in the visitor book had been replaced the same day (I mention this in case the same guest leaves a review). Secure back garden and yard which our dog loved playing with her ball in whilst we chilled in the hot tub. We have been to the area for years but our first visit to Cayton Bay beach and Filey has great butchers, bakers, chip shop. We wish the owners every success with your beautiful property, we would definitely return.
Lovely well maintained property with all the comforts of home.
The hot tub was fabulous after a day’s walking. The garden and courtyard are both doggy secure and it is so peaceful and relaxing. Good location for Filey, Scarborough, Whitby and Cayton beach (although the climb back up is not for the faint hearted). Wi-Fi brilliant and Netflix gave us our evening entertainment. The lovely owners checked in on us to make sure everything was ok.

Ideal for exploring. Very secluded, quiet, and relaxing; just what we wanted. Everything needed was provided, and very secure for our dogs. We have already booked for next year. Lovely place!!

Absolutely superb stay once again. The property is in a perfect location for a relaxing time whilst in the property, with the hot tub a lovely treat at the end of the day, and a totally secure garden to allow the dog's to roam whilst you chill out, and view the beautiful sunset. Plenty of places to visit along the Yorkshire Coast and surrounding areas to keep everyone occupied. A lovely dog friendly pub within walking distance is an added bonus too. We've visited lot's of different cottages down the years with our 2 dogs, and Owl view is definitely our favourite place, and a credit to our hosts, Terri and Martin. Thanks once again for a lovely stay.
What a gem.
Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Perfect for our dog who could not make up his mind whether to go out front door and the fully enclosed yard or the back with the enclosed lawn. Both equally safe. So good and seeing how quickly next year is being booked we booked to go back for another two weeks next year.
We had a fantastic Holiday at Owl View 22nd-29th July with my wife Gillian and daughter Olivia.
The Cottage was spotless clean. The Dogs loved it as there was some very nice Farm tracks to walk along. The Hot tub was great and we had lovely weather and got great sunsets from the back Garden. There is lots to do with Filey and Scarborough being so close, the Beaches are great at Filey and Cayton Bay. There's Sea world in Scarborough and a Lovely little Zoo in Filey. Also Flamborough head and Bempton Cliffs are well worth visiting. The Owners Terri & Martin were always on hand if we needed them. we had a small issue with the dishwasher not working and Martin fixed it straight away. Its a perfect cottage in a brilliant location to explore the Filey area. can't fault it and very much hope to return soon. Ed, Gillian and Olivia

Our second visit proved just as good as the 2021 visit.
We love the solitude of the property which is in a field with only very distant buildings in sight. It is furnished to a high and comfortable standard. The hot tub is excellent. Our hosts are friendly and responded to a little problem promptly. It is on our list for a future visit.
Could not fault this property at all lovely barn conversion finished to a very high standard forecourt at the front and garden with grassed and paved area at the rear hot tub makes it perfect in an idyllic rural location yet close to all amenities owl view has everything you could need and the hosts are friendly but not at all obtrusive would love to go again
A lovely barn conversation in a quiet countryside location with easy access to lots of different places of interest along the coast.
The hot tub was just perfect for watching the sunset. Property owners were a lovely couple, very friendly and helpful.
Excellent holiday cottage that's been converted from an old barn to the highest standard, owners have done a brilliant job and were very friendly, cottage seems very remote and peaceful but you are only a short drive from facilities ie morrisons only 3 mile away, Cayton Bay just over a mile.
Hot tub and views especially the stars on a night time make this special property, we would definitely return.
Fantastic cottage in a lovely quiet location.
The cottage was really comfortable and well equipped. Owners were really friendly and welcoming, checking in with us through the week to check everything was ok. Hot tub was great and was maintained on a daily basis by the owners. Really well situated for touring the North Yorkshire coast. Filey’s sandy beach is only a few minutes drive away and a great place to walk. Whitby and York within an hour away.
We have had another lovely stay in the beautiful property, so much, we have booked again for next year!
Great hosts who are always on hand, everything you need is there, with a well thought out welcome pack. Secure gardens for our dogs, nothing better than watching the evening sun whilst in the hot tub. Definitely worth a stay, loved it.
Lovely place in a lovely area.
We brought our two huskies and they loved it just as much as us - especially going from the courtyard to the back garden. Watching the sunset in the hot tub was bliss and the nearby activities and places to visit were thoroughly enjoyable. I would definitely recommend going to owl View. Perfect getaway!
Wow, such a find!
Owl View is just gorgeous. The barn conversion has been done to the highest standard and is set in an amazingly peaceful location. Everything you need is supplied. There are walks from the property and beautiful beaches and cliff top walks nearby. The secured garden and courtyard meant our dog was completely safe and able to play. Sunsets in the hot tub after a day's walking were enjoyed each night. The owners introduced themselves to us on our arrival and are extremely friendly and helpful. Can not fault this property at all, in fact we loved our stay so much we have already booked for next year.
We arrived at the property and we got the wow factor.
The photographs do not do it justice .All the fixtures and fittings are top clas s. The sofas are really comfy and the bed was too. After our days out it was nice to return to a well maintained Hot Tub .There is a secure courtyard at the front of the property and secure fencing around the back garden so we could relax and let our 2 dogs out to run around.Martin and Terri were really friendly and were available if you had any problems.The cottage was in easy distance to many beaches and coatal towns. There are pubs and shops within 2-3 miles .We had a lovely meal at the Farrier in Cayton.Although the cottage is secluded which was great you are not far away from the real world .We can't wait to return .
We had a really enjoyable stay at Owl View.
It was certainly a home from home property. Not even four storms in a week could dampen our spirits and the property stood up to the conditions well. We would certainly consider a return visit. Maybe in the summer months next time.
This is a fantastic barn conversation property.
The cottage is completely secure for the dog. We had a slight problem with the hot tub (not being hot enough) the owner was there within a couple of minutes and sorted it. The owner is a genuinely nice and easy going man. I definitely would go back but sadly it’s booked for the rest of the year.

We have just arrived home from Owl View, it had everything and more which you would need for your stay.
The barn is lovely, my daughters a wheelchair user so the layout worked well for us. We spent time waking, chilling and time in the hot tub watching the stars. The dog loved the garden and he was safe. I loved all the little extra touches especially the Christmas tree and lights. After travelling for over 2 hours the milk and coffee was really appreciated it meant we didn’t have to find a shop straight away. Supermarkets, shops and the seaside are not too far to travel which was nice. My older daughter was happy she had a smart TV in her room she could catch up on a Netflix. The barn was clean, warm and cosy. We hope to visit again it was so peaceful.
We visit quite a few holiday lets and this one is without doubt the best we have visited.
The layout and finish are exceptional and the location, being at least 1/4 mile away from the next property, is ideal...especially if you have dogs that bark occasionally. If you have a smaller breed dog you may want to add some extra security to the gate posts in the paved courtyard...but there is always the paved/grass area at the rear of the property where the Hot Tub is located...ideal. Approx 5 miles from Filey and not too far from Bridlington and Scarborough. Great location for visiting the area. Owners very helpful and informative. 5 Star!
What a beautiful property.
My 2 friends and I had a wonderful 2 nights midweek break. In fact we enjoyed it so much we booked to visit again in March for 3 nights. Excellent accommodation, exceptionally clean. What a fantastic place, the accomodation was beautiful & modern with all the home comforts you need, the view from the garden & hot tub were amazing, being able to watch the sun set, absolutely breathtaking.
Hosts were fantastic & Terri introduced herself offering help with anything we required, very helpful & understanding. We enjoyed the holiday so much we have booked to go next year, can't wait to return

This cottage is everything we wanted and more.
It's location was perfect for exploring but we also enjoyed a couple of days just in the cottage relaxing with a book and the hot tub. The owners were lovely and available for any queries we had. I would happily live here. Can't wait to book here again
Owl View exceeded our expectations.
The conversion of this old barn has been brilliantly executed. The high quality of the interior furnishing and decoration was appreciated by my wife and myself. We had hoped for a quiet retreat, and certainly this is what we got. We enjoyed the peaceful location well away from any other buildings. The weather was kind and our tan were topped up sunning ourselves at the cottage. The hot tub provided excellent relaxation. The location close to Filey (an lovely resort) and Scarborough is excellent. We have already booked for another visit in 2022.
Owl view was without doubt the best place we've ever stayed at.
The barn conversion was of a very high spec, with all mod cons. It's in a really peaceful private location, but within a few minutes drive you're at the beach, with Cayton Bay, Filey, and Scarborough very close by. Perfect break for us and our 2 dogs. Thanks for a perfect stay, and we've already booked for next year.
Owl View is a beautifully renovated barn and is an ideal base to explore the area.

The house is stunning the layout and the interior is fantastic it is situated perfectly between the seaside and the Yorkshire moors.
And to top it off a super Hot tub with a great view to watch the sun go down the owners are close at hand if you needed anything which we didn’t fabulous sums it up perfectly

Owl view is an amazing property, a little gem with the perfect enclosed garden, to both the front and back for the pups Peaceful, and relaxing inside and out , having breakfast only to the sounds of birds chirping Martin and Terri were very welcoming and have completed the renovations of this barn to a very high 'spec' A relaxing hot tub at the end of the day, watching the sun go down.

This was definitely the jewel in the Crown.
The barn conversion was done to a very high spec and everything was extremely tasteful. A secluded position with a courtyard at the front and a patio at the back with an enclosed garden which was great for the two dogs to run around in. There was a hot tub available if required. The owners, Terri and Martin, we're very helpful.

Made to feel very welcome by the owners and a lovely touch with the welcome pack on arrival. The hot tub was a great place to spend on an evening after a busy day of activities. A safe and secure place for our pets. Would definitely recommend.

! We highly recommend this property. It is in a lovely secluded area and is modern, comfortable and immaculately clean with everything you could possibly need. The owners were super friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. We visited Scarborough, Bridlington, Filey and Flamborough and came home each evening exhausted and looked forward to relaxing in the hot tub. The hot tub itself is quite a large one and positioned perfectly to watch the sunset. Both the garden and the courtyard are enclosed and safe enough to let pets or children play without being able to wander off. The weather wasn't quite hot enough to open the bifold doors onto the courtyard but I can imagine in the summer that would just be amazing. In summary, this property totally wowed us and no expense has been spared. A massive ten out of ten definitely.

Decorated and furnished to a very high standard and really clean. All the facilities you’d want including the fab luxurious hot tub and enclosed garden perfect for our dogs. Welcome goodies including tea / coffee and milk plus a lovely bottle of fizz! Terri and Martin the owners very helpful and friendly. Cannot fault it was brilliant and will definitely return.

We had the best time at Owl View the week before Christmas!
The house is immaculate and is perfectly decorated. We really enjoyed the extra touches left for us (especially the prosecco!) and thought it was one of the nicest holiday homes we have ever stayed at. The location is perfect - 10 minutes to the beach but in such a quiet area. This is such a lovely place to stay especially if you have dogs, our golden retriever Gary couldn’t believe his luck at all the nice walks nearby! We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub after a cold, rainy walk. I can’t recommend this place enough although I selfishly don’t want to as it is already getting booked up next year and we are desperate to come back. Can’t wait for another stay!

Friendly owners very helpful, spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and furnished and the hot tub was lovely set in its own private garden. Even had a beautiful christmas tree! Couldn't fault this place!

A wonderful place to stay, in a perfect location.
The owners have done a fabulous job of converting the barns. We really enjoyed our week here. The location was key for us, peaceful (with no close neighbours), but is close enough to Filey, Scarborough, Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and the rest of the North Yorkshire Moors. The place was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay...including the much needed hot tub after the long walks/cycling. We wouldn't hesitate to book again and would recommend to others.
We were the very first guests to visit Owl View and it was an absolute pleasure from start to end.
This is a beautiful barn conversion in peaceful countryside and has been done to a high standard. Everything we needed was there including smart TVs and good WiFi.
