“We had a lovely week in the cottage, the only thing putting us off returning would be the heating system.”

The smell from the oil boiler was quite strong in the downstairs bathroom, slightly in the main bathroom upstairs too. You got used to it, but might still put people off, heating was very good though. Apart from that, a few little details - like could provide a pack of cards, games and selection of books, although we always bring our own. Could do with some more hooks for coats by back door and hooks in main bathroom for dressing gowns etc. Every thing was clean and very comfy. ...

Cottage is in a great location, close to Scarborough, Whitby, Dalby Forest and Robins Hood Bay, plenty of places to eat out particularly the Three Jolly Sailors.

Hi Susan, Thanks for sharing your feedback. The boiler has just had it's safety checks completed but we'll get an engineer to have a look. I appreciate you taking the time to share the other points too. There are some amazing places to eat within a mile of our door; I'm so glad you found some of them. I hope we can welcome you back in the future. David Property Owner
