6 Granary Court

Larger than expected, very comfortable & fully equipped flat.

We appreciated the guaranteed, secure parking & proximity to the centre of York. Didn't use the car much as there was so much to do within easy walking distance.

We enjoyed the view of York Minster most.

.. unfortunately the beds were very uncomfortable and honestly over the week we had to try them all !! Granary Court was very central and convenient but we wouldn't stay there again because of the uncomfortable beds. Also we weren't in much but struggled all week to make any sense at all of the TV.

Excellent location to explore the city of York, highly recommend.

The apartment was lovely in a superb location.

It had everything you’d need to have a great break. A lot of thought had obviously gone in to providing holiday info for the guests. However we found the owners inflexible attitude to a very slightly later check out and unwillingness to allow us to leave 2 small bags for an hour a bit disappointing. 6 hours to clean a 2 bed apartment does seem excessive. The check in/out times had changed post booking.

First class accommodation in a fantastic spot.

The apartment is very well appointed with everything a guest could need. Plentiful information on both the apartment and York is supplied by the hosts. In Goodramgate (just behind the apartment) there are 3 restaurants we would particularly recommend: Ambiente Tapas (Spanish), Caesar's at The Minster (Italian), and Damastique (Syrian). The latter is Bring Your Own Bottle which is a pleasant bonus! We will definitely recommend 6 Granary Court. to friends and family.

Granary Court is a really lovely comfortable apartment, extremely well situated in the centre of York.

The wonderful view of the Minster does not ex0aggerate, it's only 5 minutes away and the Shambles is even closer! The owner has provided everything you could need and if you can't find something, look in the information folder at the comprehensive index that itemises each and every item. Excellent pubs and eating places in the next road (Goodramgate) would also recommend Gert and Henry's, on the edge of Shambles market

We had a fantastic time staying at 6 Granary Court.

The proximity to York centre couldn't be better, especially with waking up to the view of the Minster each morning. The apartment was larger than we were expecting for such a great location, and there were some nice touches, such as having the Roku device on the T.V for streaming services without fear of leaving everything logged in at the end of your stay. Everything was cleaned and well kept. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you should need. We're hoping to revisit at some point and would happily stay here again.

Lovely accommodation, and so central.

Unfortunately the mattress in main bedroom very uncomfortable and bedding had seen better days. Wardrobe falling to bits. Some items in the provided list were sadly in short supply or not provided, ie. Washing-up liquid, foil, bin liners, and also toilet roll to name a few.

We loved everything about the flat and hope to return.

Just one request, please can you get some tin foil as its on the inventory but we couldn't find any. Thanks.

Amazing to find such a centrally located apartment with the very welcome added bonus of secured parking.

We parked the car and didn't need to use it all week. A couple of minutes walk and we were in the middle of the city, right near to The Shambles. The apartment itself is very comfortable and spacious and has everything that you could need. The owners have taken the time to create information packs so that you know how to use all of the appliances. It's definitely one that we would like to come back to and one that we'd recommend.

This is a fantastic property with a very responsive host!

The property is in a fantastic location with the Shambles only a minutes walk away. The flat was decorated for Christmas, which was a pleasant and welcome surprise! Anything you could think of needing for your stay is there and there is lots of information available on things to do and places to eat. I could not recommend this place more and it's easily the best place I've stayed at in in York! I will definitely be booking another stay here next time I'm planning a trip to York!

The flat is very centrally located but also totally quiet.

It has an unrivalled view of the Minster. It is one of the most fully equipped and best maintained places I've stayed, and I've stayed in a lot! Very comfortable.

Fantastic apartment.

Superb views of the minster. Great location for reaching everything on foot. Only downside for us was we both found the mattress too hard for our liking. This could just be personal taste. This would however not stop us coming back again and we will definitely book here again in the future.

Going to York then look no further!

! Bang in the city centre with private parking. Apartment is modern and very clean with all the facilities. Lovely little touches to make you feel special. We will definitely be back soon.

6 Granary Court is outstanding as holiday accommodation.

Clean,tidy and well furnished. There are lots of extras,like umbellas and hot water bottles, should they be needed. Instructions for use of all the appliances are very precise. It is within easy walking distance of York Minster and other places of interest.

This rental was fabulous!

And the beautiful views of York Minster, (especially at night) were breathtaking. The location puts you within walking distance to everything you could possibly need or want to do. We arrived by train and had no car, and didn’t need one! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us; we highly recommend it!

Lovely apartment, within walking distance of York centre and attractions.

The property was in an ideal position within the city walls of York and the private secure parking was an added bonus.

To wake up to the sun shining on the Minster was magical. It was lovely to be able to go for a walk around York of an evening when many of the visitors had left. The property was also so convenient to visit places in the area. We would stay here again if we ever want to visit York again.

Our second stay this year.

The apartment was exactly as the photos show and it is so central to the key sites in York.

Having a parking space within a gated complex was ideal and once parked up we were able to walk everywhere, as the location couldn’t be better for the Shambles and York Minster etc. It’s also close to the bus stops for the hop on and hop off bus and picking up the road train to the train museum couldn’t have been easier too. The kitchen in the apartment is really well stocked with handy equipment if you want to cook and a large fridge freezer makes storing food and drinks really easy. However, the apartment is also really close to cafes, restaurants and pubs for those that don’t want to cook, so you can have the best of both worlds. Considering how central this apartment is in York it is exceptionally quiet. I would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay in York and walking to key attractions is the cherry on the cake. The correspondence and guidance on how to access the apartment was also really helpful and a full guide is in the lounge to ensure you have everything at your fingertips. Whilst we didn’t use the welcome pack items, it was a really lovely touch that I know others will like. Thank you for a wonderful stay in York.

It is a well appointed property in an ideal location in a wonderful city. In addition there is secure parking.

The location is excellent for walking exploring York.

Also a good base from which to make day excursions, by car, to visit places such as Brimham Rocks, Pateley Bridge, Whitby, Scarborough, to name a few.

The apartment is really central which meant we parked up for the 4 nights and then everything was within walking distance. The view of the Minster from the window was amazing- particularly at night! The apartment is really spacious and has everything you need (and more) for a great stay. The welcome goodies and eco-toiletries/ products were a great touch. We would certainly recommend staying here to family and friends as it made a great base for us to explore York. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The apartment is incredibly spacious, in a perfect location for exploring York, and having a parking space was a huge bonus. It was nice and quiet in the evenings, and the view of the cathedral was amazing. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the future!

The place was lovely and located at city centre still it was so quiet during night that we had a peaceful and relaxing night.

The view from the apartment was very beautiful and the explanation by owner regarding gadgets and stuff was informative and easy to follow. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to everyone. :)

We really loved staying at Granary Court.

The flat was so spacious, with everything that you could need. Very well equipped kitchen. Great that we could use a parking space. So close to everything in York, and yet so quiet in the evening.

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle you would never realise you are right in the centre of ancient York. With everything you need for your stay and secure parking this lovely comfortable apartment is the perfect base to explore this amazing city.

Very Central for most venues and amenities. A very enjoyable stay.

This was our forth visit - always comfy, always clean and well kept.

The owner allowed us entry at 12pm as the room was cleaned and ready which was very much appreciated. We always find the location fab and with the parking - perfect. Now has Rotu box fitted so we could get Netflix (which is great). A perfect apartment for York central. Would highly recommend.

We were greated us on arrival and provided necessary details for stay. The appartment has everything you could possible need during your stay and is in an excellent location in the middle of York City with all the attractions and amenities within walking distance of the flat. It was thankfully also very quiet despite being in such a central location. The parking was also very secure. Would recommend to anyone looking for a short break in York to see the sights as we were.

This was a lovely, and most charming flat to stay at, with a view of rooftops and the Minster.

It was very quiet, and peaceful, all the time we were there, yet only a short walk from all the town of York has to offer, so very convenient. It had everything you could possibly need, and more (shopping bags, an umbrella even),There was a choice of supermarkets in a walkable distance if you were self catering, and lots to do, especially historic buildings to visit, York Minster, and the town walls. Being the first weekend of the Christmas market, the town was very popular for visitors in the late afternoon and evening, but all good natured fun. There are so very many choices of eating establishments or pubs , catering for every taste. We plan to visit again, definitely.
