    “We stayed last October and gave the place an absolutely glowing review, we stayed last week and well.”

    .......... it was still just as wonderful. Location, accommodation, cleanliness, hot tub everything was brilliant. As always Paul was helpful and lovely, cheers for a great week mate. My only slight gripe was the bed was too firm for us and meant we didn't sleep as well as we'd hoped but obviously that's a personal thing, some prefer a firmer mattress. Will we stay again? You betcha.

The village centre, with its stone cottages and Victorian houses, boasts good facilities, with a pub, two local shops, a quaint tea room, a hairdressers and a beauty salon. Surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful countryside, with thousands of hectares of moors and forest, it makes the perfect place to stay, with numerous public footpaths and the well-known Scalby Beck, which winds its way to the coast.
