What an amazing place to stay.

Views across the bay are worth the hill up to the house. Perfect location with being able to use the buses. Laura the host was brilliant. Super friendly and happy to give advice on where to go and things to do. Had an issue with toilet but Laura was on it and had it fixed same day. Could not asked for a better host.

Had a fantastic week at Ocean Spray.

Very spacious, tastefully decorated house with everything you need. Amazing sea views from the upstairs windows and garden. Only a ten minute walk to Scarborough sea front and five minute walk to the castle. Would definitely book again.

We have just returned from Scarborough having enjoyed a 3 night stay at Ocean Spray.

A party of 6 adults, one baby and one dog. Accommodation welcoming, clean, spacious and well equipped. The host was in touch beforehand to offer help/advice. Parking available close by operating with disks/scratch cards. There are a few steps up to property so bear this in mind if relevant to your mobility or if you have a pram. A short steep walk down hill to South Bay. A quiet location just below castle and round the corner from St Mary’s church. We found it a great base to relax and explore the town. Comfy beds and pillows. The only suggestion we might make was more fridge space. We made some happy memories as this was the first family holiday with our baby grandson would happily look to return another year.

What can I say beautiful property very spacious every thing you need Spotless clean modern Left dog food for our rocco Cleaning products etc We will definitely be returning a credit to the owners 10 out of 10 we loved it A short stroll to the beach by some steps Parking round the corner with the permit that was left in the kitchen

Well ocean spray definately didnt dissapoint us from the moment we opened the door we were really happy at how clean and fresh the house was and how well looked after it was.

Laura was always at the end of the phone for any queries we might have and she was a lovely lady wen we met in person. The house had everything we needed and more was nice having the patio doors in the lounge so we could leave them open for our dog to go in and out garden into the well enclosed garden. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and good storage. The views from the garden and bedroom window were wonderful its only a short walk to sea front and harbour also into town wasnt far to walk. I cant recommend this property enough its by far the best iv stayed in and didnt want to leave we will definately be returning in the future. Thankyou again to Laura x

Put simply it was faultless for us.

.. Great communications with the owner from start to finish.. We are looking forward to holidaying here again... The only thing we will say is its hilly, so youll return home fitter than when you arrived....

A well appointed large kitchen/diner and a very comfortable lounge with double doors onto a good sized patio.

Everything clean and and tidy throughout including the bedrooms, one with a sea view. Situated in a quiet residential area with good access to both the town and the seafront. Laura made herself available throughout although this was not needed because everything was spot on. Thank you again Laura and to Sykes, we had a very happy stay and will hopefully return one day.

Wonderful stay at the property.

Visited over a May weekend, street parking around, with permits available. House is well located in between the North and South Bays of Scarborough, so you can do walks in either direction exploring different areas, or you are a stone's thrown away from the main seaside section on the seafront, if you like that. We were surprised we couldn't really hear the sea front noise at the house even though we were so close to it! We were lucky to have the sun out with us, and had our breakfasts on the patio area which gives a sea view! Great communication with the owners prior to our arrival. Highly recommend, and would be more than happy if we are able to book this place again on our next visit!

A little bit hilly but worth it for the view which was amazing. Great hosts, very easy to communicate with. Parking permits provided. Slept 6 comfortably.

We visit Scarborough several times a year and have stayed in many properties.

I can honestly say that Ocean Spray is by far the best property we have ever stayed at. Everything was perfect. Comfortable and spotless, facilities were amazing quality good location - views over the harbour. Laura was attentive. Will definitely be back.

It was a great stay at Ocean Spray.

The house was clean and tidy. The communication from the owner was great. My only concern for us was.Having never been to Scarborough before. It would have been good if we were warned about how steep the road was.

Enjoyed our stay ,clean and spacious good area , lovely view , Close to shops and beach ,lovely holiday, would go there again

Really nice stay and the rooms were nice with good quality furniture and spacious.

Beds were very comfortable and we all had a good nights sleep. A couple of things I asked the owner Laura about and she got on to it straight away and she was very helpful throughout without being intrusive. The whole family and pets thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend Ocean Spray.

What a fantastic property with superb facilities we felt very lucky to find this great holiday home.

Outstanding views of the Harbour and beach. Great TV in lounge and in two bedrooms. Laura keeps the house fabulously clean. A nice welcome pack awaited us plus parking permits for our visit. Many thanks for a great week Steve and Sue

Fabulous property and a great location .

Some great walks, bars & restaurants. Parking was tight but they did supply 7 days of permits. Laura the owner came to visit and even sent us some recommendations for takeaways with menus.

House is beautiful, well presented and has all you may need for a stay.

Its a great location too as walking distance to all the Scarborough sea front attractions. The only thing i'd say is I think it would be helpful to say a little more regarding parking, as there isnt a designated space and regarding unloading as you cant get the car that close to the house to unload. We had our elderly mum with us and she did find the steps/cobbles a struggle however I note you have recently amended regarding the steps. All in all a great stay and would recommend you to others. Thank you

Excellent clean holiday let property, Great view off south bay from one of the bedrooms, great location easy to walk most local attractions even if its a bit up and down hills .

Only downside is parking is away from the property and it can be difficult to find a on street parking space near the property as they are always full but the owner left parking permits which is very helpful. The only things of note that would be better is a shower screen or curtain in the bathroom and the lock on the patio double doors is not smooth or easy to operate, but i would strongly recommend this property if your planning a stay in scarborough.

Having booked for 4 adults, 2 disabled children and 2 dogs it was good to find that we were only a few minutes away from the sea front.

With the aid of a permit we were able to park in the residents parking which was just around the corner - very important in Scarborough as most roads are double yellow. The accommodation was spacious and well laid out, even for the 6 of us. Kitchen appliances were all in good order, although we ate out for the most part. Cutlery and crockary were clean and modern. Everything was clean, neat and tidy. Beds were comfy and only the heat kept us from a good nights sleep - pushing 30 during the day. Bad points for the owner non of which would affect us staying again, just constructive feedback - although there is one shower and a separate bath with shower attachment it could do with a shower screen for the bath and a holder for the shower head as 6 people would have struggled with one shower had my wife and I not used the bath, shower head. The lock on the rear French doors is very difficult to lock/unlock. Finally the rear patio area could do with gates/boards to close it off for the dogs. All in all We were very happy with our choice and will stay again, which says it all.

Enjoyed the garden very much could benefit from a parasol. Great location for exploring both north and south bay , close to beach ,shops and bars/restaurants. Good communication with prompt replies from owner , would definitely recommend.

The property listing did not state that the house was at the top of a hill which could only be accessed by a set of steps.

This needs to be stated on the listing as I would not have booked this had I been aware - my friend is disabled and can only walk very short distances so getting him in and out of the property was extremely difficult. Parking also was a nightmare - there is no parking space outside the house and the nearest spaces are in a very tight parking area which never had spaces available. We had to park up a hill away from the house. Please state these things on the listing!! The house itself was lovely and very clean and would have been a great stay, however the misleading nature of the listing was unfortunate.
