    “We had a fabulous stay at Mill House.”

    The property is set in a lovely location, in particular for walkers. The area is so peaceful and quiet with many places to visit nearby. It is immaculate, well presented, with 2 huge sofas to relax on. They are very deep, so if like us, you are short, you'll have to curl up on them. The TV and WiFi both have great reception.The kitchen is well equipped, that said, we didn't cook there, preferring to eat out as we always do. The beds we found to be extremely comfortable and slept very well - ...

Both the ensuite and bathroom have fantastic power showers and huge fluffy white towels. We were also very fortunate to see the woodpecker on the nut feeder every day and the resident barn owl flying in and out of the barn several times. We highly recommend this holiday property.

The property

Set in an idyllic location at Boggle Hole, Mill House offers reverse level accommodation, situated on a small complex at South House Farm.

With a spacious open-plan living area to take in the fabulous views over the countryside and coast, this makes an ideal homestay for a relaxing family holiday.

The interior boasts a characterful space with plenty of room to spread out and a well-equipped kitchen, perfect for family meals together at the large dining table.

The two bedrooms are on the ground floor, one with an en-suite shower room and one with a dedicated sole use shower room nearby.

Patio doors open onto a balcony, where you can sit with morning coffee while drinking in the stunning views.

Make full use of the private tennis court available for you to enjoy some leisure time, so don't forget to pack your rackets and trainers.

The surrounding countryside and farmland is a haven for wildlife, with nesting birds, roe deer and foxes frequently spotted.

Enjoy a scenic walk to Robin Hood's Bay and take the time to explore the historic town of Whitby, home to an imposing abbey.

You can also spend a day at Scarborough, with its golden beaches and experience the wildness of the North York Moors.

Robin Hood's Bay, with its narrow cobbled streets and quaint cottages, is one of the most picturesque villages on the English coastline. Situated between Scarborough and Whitby, this charming old fishing village is to be found nestling at the edge of a wide sweeping bay backed by spectacular cliffs and dramatic moorland scenery, and was once home to author Leo Walmsley. All holidaymakers will love the beach and its cliff-top walks, whilst more serious walkers will enjoy the many long distance trails that pass through the Cleveland Way, the Lyke Wake Walk and the Coast to Coast walks which all take in Robin Hood’s Bay. The village amenities are superb, with charming alleyways to explore and plenty of places to rest, relax and take refreshment. A perfect base for enjoying the Yorkshire Coast.
