“The property was spacious, clean and in a great location, with parking being a definite bonus.”

The living areas were very sociable and the kitchen accommodating for a large group. The bedrooms were all a great size, clean and neutrally decorated, and the bathrooms were also well maintained. The hosts were really nice and provided a phone number in case we had any problems during our stay. Only a couple of minor things, the living room had a noticeable smell, possibly because the property is pet friendly and carpeted, and also just worth noting to bring your own hand soap as there ...

The living areas were very sociable and the kitchen accommodating for a large group. The bedrooms were all a great size, clean and neutrally decorated, and the bathrooms were also well maintained. The hosts were really nice and provided a phone number in case we had any problems during our stay. Only a couple of minor things, the living room had a noticeable smell, possibly because the property is pet friendly and carpeted, and also just worth noting to bring your own hand soap as there wasn’t any provided. Only thing that was a real shame was the hot tub not working, as this was a real selling point for us. Although this was not necessarily the fault of the hosts, we were initially told that the jets were not working but that the water would still be hot. However, it later became clear that it had been manually filled with hot water before our arrival and that the heating element was not working either, meaning it quickly became cold and was unusable. The hosts kindly arranged for someone to refill it with hot water at 10am, but unfortunately it would have cooled down again before we were likely to use it. It was a real disappointment that the hot tub was unusable and that this was not communicated more clearly beforehand. Overall, the property itself was a lovely, spacious and sociable place for a large group, and the hosts were very pleasant. The hot tub issue was really disappointing, but the rest of the stay was enjoyable.

We are sincerely sorry that the hot tub did not perform as expected during your visit. We were aware there was an issue prior to your arrival and made every effort to have it repaired before your stay. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, it was not possible to resolve the fault in time. We appreciate your patience while we arranged temporary measures, although we completely understand these were not a suitable replacement and that this was disappointing, particularly as the hot tub was an important feature for your booking. We are pleased to confirm that the issue has now been fully resolved, and the hot tub is operating as normal for future guests. Thank you also for your feedback regarding the hand soap and the smell in the living room. We value all guest comments and use them to continually improve the experience we offer. We appreciate your understanding and are glad that, despite the hot tub issue, you were still able to enjoy the property overall. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future under much better circumstances. Property Owner
