Please note the coffee machine takes the large Nespresso pods, a starter pack is left in the property for your arrival. We would recommend bringing extra pods with you.

This was a real gem of a house, with everything that makes it perfectly imperfect, a home and not a holiday let. We (family of four, the dog and the visiting godmother) had a fab week - superbly cosy and the central heating meant we didn’t even use the woodburner
Mrs Beytrison
Lovely house, very well presented with all you could ask for, would highly recommend a stay. Heating operating 24-7 therefore always cosy although set around 20 degrees, fine for us as not liking it too hot, there is always the back up of the log burner for a cosy evening.Beautiful walk in shower with plenty of hot water that never ran out. The only criticism is you should have 2 keys available, my wife was I’ll during our stay and I either had to lock her in when going out or leave her in bed with the door unlocked. The door has only one deadlock and no other means of escaping from the building in an emergency, the small courtyard is bolted shut to outside, apart from this comment a wonderful holiday let.
Mr Martin
great accommodation nice clean and comfy would live there given the chance a credit to you all.
Mr Gillett
The cottage was beautiful and kept to a high standard, it had everything we could need. Wonderful ambience, we will definitely be returning for a longer stay.
Mrs Rumble
A lovely cottage and would certainly return. There was a problem with the central heating which was reported to Sykes during our stay. As the weather was mild it wasn’t a problem however had it been colder then there would have been an issue. First floor bathroom has a lovely large shower but no grab rail and/or non slip mat. Sykes customer service was excellent.
Ms Eckersley
Lovely house, great location. Cosy and comfortable and a short walk from everything. Would return as we had a lovely week.
Mr Nutting-westcott
Fantastic please to stay.
Mr Elliott
Great location, lovely house. Couple of points meant as constructive feedback and not at all as criticism. A spare key for the front door would have been helpful - one of our party wasn’t well one day so we had to make the decision to lock her in or have to wake her up when we got back Explaining in the description that the Nespresso machine is a vertuo would help - we spotted it was a Nespresso machine from the photo of the dining room and brought standard capsules with us - you can’t get vertuo pods anywhere but A small handrail on the left hand side of the step down into the kitchen might help from a safety point of view - I know there was a warning but one of us fell from the higher dining room floor level on the first day. No injuries so no problem but we put a dining room chair on the edge for the rest of the stay to make sure if it didn’t happen again.
