Only two toilet roll left for a week One bin liner left No sponge to wash pans etc.

No hand soap upstairs to wash hands Cottage very untidy & needs a spring clean Hair down plug hole in bath Bath plug doesn’t work. Had to use kitchen sink plug to run a bath Only one tea towel & 1 cloth No kitchen spray to clean up after yourself Was like staying in a caravan (having to bring items) when we thought it was all inclusive.

Lovely cottage in a perfect location the parking isn't easy.

I agree with the previous comment about the neighbour parking right to the boundary to make it extra difficult they do. In order to get round this I moved the bins out parked and then put the bins back this made it easier.whilst I see lots of lovely comments on cleanliness we may have had a rush one as I found it wasn't cleaned properly .The farm vehicles passing the cottage that are mentioned are mainly road sweepers and tractors passing starting around 6.30am one after another not great if you don't want waking up early.The local pub and butcher's are fantastic local path to whitby is around 30mins walk if you include the walk to the path aswell.Trains are great to watch it did seem to be the same steam train all week but lovely to see.

Close enough to Whitby to enjoy the town but far enough away to enjoy peace in the countryside. Would def return

Lovely property.

Great location. The kitchen diner was a great spot to get to everyone together for family time. The single room was very small but comfortable. The beds were a little noisy when turning over in the night, but beautifully clean. Would love to stay again

I very well presented cottage on the outskirts for ruswarp.

Everything inside the cottage was advertised and very nice. Parking was very difficult outside the cottage on a private road. Not made easy by a neighbour who parks right up to his extreme boundary to make it as difficult as possible. I said good morning when arrived and clearly not friendly. I guess being a private house not happy about a holiday cottage next door?. Just my opinion. Ruswarp is nice, a decent pub 10 minutes walk. A wonderful butchers but no shop. Walking to whitby is possible down a nice flat trackside path but expect it to take 40 minutes to town centre. So a car is a must in my opinion. So in summary. A lovely cottage very clean and well presented but maybe not in the perfect location

Great house, had everything you could need and really clean.

Well stocked kitchen, comfortable living room, spacious bedrooms and comfy beds. Fantastic view of the steam trains passing by (you can’t get any closer!). Great location, nice pub walking distance and easy to get to all the local sites. Would highly recommend!

This was a lovely, comforable amd well equipped cottage.

Plenty of space inside and out. Dog friendly. The Bridge Inn, only a short walk away, serves good food and drink and Whitby is an easy 20 minute walk away. A great base to explore the area, and also a nice cottage to spend time in.

Great property well set out everything you needed on hand.

kitchen equipped really well really nice and clean comfortable beds good pillows great location pub 5 minutes walk nice and friendly dogs welcome 25 minutes walk to Whitby along the river.will be booking this property again

Had a wonderful new year break at trackside, excellent location, ideal for exploring.

The property had everything one could wish for and was still decorated for xmas which was a lovely touch. Very comfortable and warm very easy to set the heating to desired comfort. Parking outside the property wasn't a problem, evem with a S.U.V. Very warm and friendly village pub 5 min walk. Thanks for a lovely break. Kev and Nadine,

Too be honest there is not much I can add. Thank you for the extra touches like the Christmas decorations and even a Christmas card sent from the owners. If we ever go back to Whitby it would be the first place we would look for. Mike, Jo and coco the dog.

The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The back garden with the steam trains coming by, is an absolute joy. The parking is okay for a small car right out the front of the property. The steps down to the property are steep. The location of the property is great for a walk into Whitby, with several different routes available. Walking time approx 30 minutes.

Trackside is a fantastic cottage in a prime position for exploring Whitby and the local area.

The cottage its self is very well equipped, comfortable and a home from home. It has the added bonus of the railway line at the end of the garden, the site of a steam locomotive running past is a beautiful site. The walk along the railway and river Esk into Whitby is a joy in itself with beautiful scenery which takes roughly 35 mins at a steady pace along an even footpath. Trackside is set in a quiet location within a 5 minute stroll from a lovely local pub and railway station at Ruswarp. The cottage is spacious yet cosy, especially with the log burner of a chilly evening. We had a truly wonderful week at trackside and would love to return soon. Thank you Ryan & Nicky.

The accommodation was spacious, comfortable with high quality furnishings and everything you need for your staff.

A great base for the North York Moors, Whitby, Sandsend and Runswick Bay. Easy walk enjoyable walk into Whitby with the dog. Would definitely return.

Great base in nice surroundings.

Property and fittings could really benefit from a deep clean. Mattresses in particular are well worn. Windows could do with a clean. Having said that the property was well appointed, wi fi was very good. Back garden and seating etc. was excellent. Property description was accurate. The steam trains was an added bonus at the bottom of the garden and a great setting for walks around the village and into Whitby.

We enjoyed a fantastic holiday at Trackside cotage, so much, we didn't want to leave.

The owners were friendly and very helpful. The cottage was really comfortable, clean and spacious, with everything you need. The bonus was the lovely garden with diesel and steam trains going past. The village is lovely and just a 30 minute stroll to Whitby. We would love to return to this 'gem' of a cottage. Thank you for a great holiday.

Trackside Cottage has everything you could possibly need and more.

It's comfortable, tastefully decorated and relaxing. The location is excellent for anyone who loves trains as the NYMR Heritage trains pass by at the bottom of the garden. I spoke with the Owner regarding a query with the heating system and I found him to be very kind and helpful. My family and I will certainly return for another stay.

What a peaceful stay!

We were very impressed with how well presented the house as in everything that's been provided. Loved the period features and seeing the steam train go past. We will definitely come again.
