A lovely well kept and fully equipped apartment close to town centre with designated secure parking.

On arrival the property was spotless, with a treasure chest full of treats to welcome us, attention to detail was above and beyond what you would expect making “treasure chest” a true treasure in Whitby. Highly recommended and hope to return again.

This is an absolutely beautiful apartment.

Comfortable for 6 adults. Gorgeous decor and quirky touches. Welcome pack was a very nice surprise and again, quirky little touches and nods to its name, the Treasure Chest. We stayed one week but wished it was two. Good to meet the owner, Craig at the start who was extremely helpful with our questions. I would highly recommend this holiday apartment.

Excellent attention to detail.

Very clean, comfortable. Lots of lovely surprises ! Close to town . 2 flights of steps fine for my 82 yr old mother. Handrail and wide. Would definitely recommend .

A lovely comfortable apartment in a good location to access the centre of town.

All queries were answered promptly by the owners who were extremely accommodating to our needs. We appreciated the Welcome Pack and had a fabulous week exploring Whitby and the surrounding areas. We would definitely stay here again.

I cannot praise it enough. Spotless clean with every thing you could wish for. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful with constant updates. The apartment was decorated for Halloween and looked stunning. Honestly we didn’t want to leave and would definitely recommend. Thank you

Outstanding holiday let.

We have had some mediocre holiday homes in the past but this one is in a totally different league. Thoughtfully and painstakingly laid out, the owners have gone the extra mile to make the property uniquely charming. No corners have been cut in providing equipment and general facilities. The apartment is situated within easy walking distance of Whitby town centre and it's beach and station. Absolutely first class. Strongly recommended.

What an amazing apartment.

It had absolutely everything you could need. We really appreciated the welcome basket which was lovely. We had a fantastic time, visited lovely places and enjoyed some fantastic food. We will definitely return and recommend your accommodation to others. Thank you.

The property exceeded our expectations.

The owners have gone above and beyond to ensure they provide every comfort you could possibly need for a home from home experience. It is situated very near to the town centre which is an easy stroll away and of course it has secure parking which is very welcome. It is also dog friendly. We highly recommend it.

We were really impressed with the Treasure Chest Appartment.

It was presented and equipped to a very high standard and it was immaculately clean. In addition it was decorated specially for Halloween which set the scene for a great Whitby experience. The situation is great, in a quiet area but near to everything Whitby has to offer. We had a great week and hope to be back in the future.

This property was amazing.

The owners Mandy and Craig have paid great attention to every detail. On arrival the property was spotless. Every room had interesting and quirky features that we kept discovering. The kitchen had every facility you could want and more. In relation to pet friendly it definitely was. There were extra bowls, leads, ID tags and even poo bags! There were throws for the furniture which meant we could relax if our dog went on the sofa .The welcome treasure chest was lovely and very generous. This is defo the best place we’ve stayed in by far. Hopefully we will get the chance to return and would recommend this home from home to everyone.

The cleanliness of this lovely apartment drew us back for a second visit.

It’s exceptionally well equipped and it has been beautifully maintained. The owners are very helpful and friendly but not intrusive. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property for all the reasons mentioned above plus the added advantage of private and secure parking and central location.

Treasure Chest is a wonderful holiday property.

It is very well appointed and is deceptively large. The decor is very contemporary but very good. The owners had put up a lot of Olympic flags and red, white and blue balloons which put us into the Olympic spirit. Its location is perfect - so close to Whitby town centre. The gated parking space was also very welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our week's holiday and will be back in the future.

The owners have put a lot of effort into this property, it’s done to a high spec with loads of nice details and consideration for the users.

The attention to detail was amazing, the kitchen was well equipped to enable us to cook Christmas dinner, also the Christmas decorations were amazing and very much appreciated to make our Christmas stay awesome.

The private secure parking a bonus and due to location we were able to stay parked up all week with less than a 10 minute walk into the town centre.

The owners have taken great care in ensuring that their property is maintained to a very high standard.

A beautifully presented and superbly equipped apartment, even down to providing I.

D. tags for the dog! Having previously stayed in Whitby we were well aware of parking problems so the secure parking provided was particularly appreciated. The only possible drawback would be for people who have difficulty with stairs as there are 2 flights up to the entrance door and a further flight to the fantastic master bedroom. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely come again.

When first entering the appartment we where very pleased, even more so when going into the living area the decor in each room was lovely you certainly put yourself out when choosing the furnishings.

A fantastic property that was done to a very high standard.

We couldn't fault anything! Great location , secure parking for our car. Everything was provided in the property & all the little derails in the furnishings etc was excellent , so much so we have booked again for next year, we are really looking forward to it.

Property is fabulous, everything just as advertised and more.

Attention to detail from interior design to facilities was amazing. The equipment supplied was outstanding, everything you could ever need from cocktail shaker to picnic sets, to the welcome pack. Property was super clean and welcoming. The whole package was better than any other holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in.

Amazing property.

Very well equipped. Nicely finished. Literally everything we needed was there. Communication from property owners top notch. Anyone considering staying here... do it! Its such a nice place. Parking a nightmare with more than 1 car. Entry to car park is narrow, tight to enter but once passed the gate its roomy. We stayed for Christmas with our dog and family. There was ample room for 6 of us and the dog. Thanks to Mandy & Craig for a lovely stay.

Been to Whitby several times. This place has the best attention to detail by far & had everything & more than you need. Immaculate, comfortable, warm & stylish.

Outstanding apartment, nothing was needed for our holiday, and Craig and Mandy were the perfect hosts, and made us feel so welcome,and nothing was too much trouble.

A 5 minute walk into town, a pub, chippy and butchers on the doorstep, a perfect place to relax and unwind, we loved the treasure chest goodies, and we will be back again hopefully in the near future.

It is beautifully decorated, very well equipped and in a perfect location for exploring Whitby and the North York Moors. The private car parking is extremely useful too given that it would be difficult to find on-street parking in Whitby. The property owners were very helpful always replying to queries quickly.

Just got back from the Treasure Chest in Whitby.

We would highly recommend staying here. The apartment was lovely, clean well equipped. A lovely welcome chest with lots of goodies. Including a cake and card for my son's birthday. Local to the centre of town. It was like home from home. The owners were also very helpful. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Craig and Mandy.

The property owners have gone above and beyond with equipment and furnishings in the apartment.

Everything was spotlessly clean, automatic lights on when you moved about the apartment, very handy lighting on the stairs. A very generous welcome pack was greatly appreciated, it included milk, tea bags, coffee, biscuits and a bottle of Prosecco, plus a bag of treats for the dog. We met the owners on arrival and they were very informative about the area and very helpful with our one or two questions. Told us to ring anytime with any problems should they occur , a very friendly couple. Parking in the courtyard was a bonus as we were so close to the centre of Whitby, took us about 5 mins to walk into the centre of town and the harbour. Very convenient to be so close to all the amenities. Perfect location if you don’t want to venture far, we only used the car twice in the week to visit elsewhere. Highly recommend this property if you want a hassle free break, lovely and comfortable. The one thing I could say against it is the seagulls, very noisy at this time of the year with their young leaving their nests. But never spoiled it for us, we come from a seaside town ourselves so are used to it.

All facilities were spot on and true to the description. Extremely clean and everything had been carefully thought about. Kitchen very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Beds very comfy. Thoughtful touch of our own Treasure Chest of goodies on arrival too.

The property was everything you could wish for and I would have no problem recommending it to anyone.

If we ever stay in Whitby again we would most certainly stay at Treasure Chest again. The owners gave us all the information needed and more. The only thing was they left a note saying we could take a miniature treasure chest home with us which I promised my 5 year old grandson but unfortunately there wasn’t one.

The apartment was amazing and spotlessly clean. Loved the treasure chest that greeted us on arrival ... treats for adults, children and dogs. The location was spot on ... local just across the road and only a short stroll into the centre. Would not hesitate in recommending

From start to finish everything was what you would want from a place to stay. A perfect home from home. Totally relaxing and can’t recommend enough. Certainly one I would consider returning to.

Treasure Chest is a real Gem….

We have just returned from 2 weeks staying at The Treasure Chest. From start to finish Mandy and Craig are thoughtful & caring hosts. The apartment was very clean & spacious with everything you need for home from home luxury and much much more. Perfectly decorated for Christmas, but not over the top. Welcome Chest was brilliant. As we were staying for 2 weeks we were given an Enhanced Welcome Chest with extra bits, which was amazing. The bed was very comfortable. Love the design, layout and decor of the apartment. The owners have thought of everything and more. Thankyou for allowing us to stay at this wonderful apartment. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed his daily walks along the beach. And I enjoyed the Fish & Chips. I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family. We would definitely return.

Great location and a perfect base for going off exploring

We had such a wonderful stay at Treasure Chest.

The property was beautifully decorated, extremely clean and had literally everything you could think of! All amenities and furnishings were of a really high quality and we all slept so well (even our little 20 month old). The apartment itself was huge, so please don’t be put off that it isn’t a house. Everything was so well organised and communication was great, from start to finish. The owners were so lovely and helpful, even posting back to me an item of clothing I accidentally left behind. I would highly recommend treasure chest to either couples or families; the location is absolutely superb. I’ve never been to the Whitby area before but we have been telling all our family and friends how special treasure chest is. We made memories that will last a lifetime and will definitely return.

Upon arrival, Mr Dutton the owner of Treasure Chest (a very pleasant man) met us in the Car Park at the back of the apartment building and gave us the ins and outs of how the electronic gate worked and the key lock mechanism.

The three bedroom apartment was everything as advertised and more. Everything that we thought we would need and brought with us was already provided, the welcome pack of goodies was excellent and the instruction booklet regarding every piece of equipment in the apartment was easy to understand. Beds were comfortable and rooms airy with plenty of wardrobe space, en-suite and bathroom are a delight and living room and kitchen areas are superb. We had five adults staying and two dogs and the apartment had plenty of space for everyone. The Apartment is situated in a great location, only a seven minute walk to the train station which is adjacent to the town centre, which obviously for Whitby has plenty of Fish and Chip shops, restaurants and Public Bars. We walked everywhere and did not need the vehicles until vacating the apartment. It has been over forty years since i last went to Whitby, we as a family group had a fantastic time, the weather stayed fine for the week and would highly recommend Treasure Chest to everyone and have already done so.

We would stay at the Treasure Chest again, very spacious, clean and had some lovely touches.

Only a few minutes walk to town where we found some lovely restaurants to eat at.

It was like home from home, really well decorated throughout, nothing was to much trouble if you needed to no anything from the owners.

The little touches and the treasure chests were a lovely thought and for the children. It was well equipped, not far from all the facilities.

Felt like spending a week in a "John Lewis" advert :-) Good that descriptions were accurate. I was concerned about parking my 4x4 but more than adequate room for SUV in the allotted parking bay.

Excellent in all aspects, prior to the holiday the owners made sure that everything was in place to meet our requirements.

The location is ideal, the property is maintained to a high standard, very comfortable, well equipped and extremely secure. The welcome 'Treasure Chest' gifts was appreciated by all including the dog. When we did contact the owners during our stay they immediately responded. Local knowledge is essential if taking more than one car, spaces do become available on the roads around the property but they are quickly snapped up (we managed to get a space outside the property for our second car). Thank you for a lovely holiday.

A fantastic apartment.

Lovely and clean throughout when we arrived. We felt very comfortable and loved the homely touches inside. Had everything we needed to make it a lovely stay. Craig and Mandy were very well organised with regards to Covid guidelines and how we wanted certain elements done as our stay neared to make sure everything went smoothly.

Great facilities, high quality decor and furnishings, every need has been thought about. Location super for exploring all Whitby has to offer on foot and easy access to all that the moors and coast have to offer. Excellent communications from the owners. Very Covid secure.

The Treasure Chest is aptly named as everywhere you look there is beautiful art, objects and no cost has been spared to make it a luxurious space.

The kitchen is very well stocked with everything in terms of pots and pans - even a pan big enough to make paella and a full spice rack. Try out the local butcher and fishmonger in town for delicious meals. There is a little balcony two of you can sit out on which was nice. Its a 5 minute walk into the town centre and having your own parking spot is brilliant in Whitby. Its one of the best kitchen's Ive had as someone who loves to cook and with the COVID we did spend more time eating in than usual. The beds were very comfortable and its a spacious apartment.

Ideal central location with secure off street parking.

The apartment is well presented and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The owner gave us their direct number so they were available should we have had any issues. Really nice place to stay.

Treasure Chest is lovely, so well equipped.

I’ve been to lots of cottages/apartments and this place is short of nothing. Very comfortable and relaxing. The communication was also excellent with the owners. Fantastic stay with 3 friends would recommend to anyone and less than a 10min walk to train & bus station right in town.

First Class apartment, very enjoyable stay

Excellent location.

Parking space was a bonus. Very clean and extremely well equipped. Owners had definitely thought of everything. Would certainly recommend - only downside could be for older generation or the infirm as there were two flights of stairs to front door and no lift access. But this should not put others off
