In nearby Hunmanby is The Piebald Inn. It’s one of the best country pubs near Filey for a drink and a bite to eat. The clue is in the name: The Piebald Inn’s claim to fame is it’s outstanding “wold famous” (get it?) pie menu. Featuring 52 different pies, there’s enough to keep you returning to the Piebald again and again.

Outside of Filey, head towards Scarborough, and you’ll find the family-friendly Plough Inn. It’s an excellent choice for families and is geared towards kids having a great day. 15. The Station Hotel Restaurant

Back in the town centre, the next place on our list is one of the most popular pubs in Filey. The Station Hotel, bar and restaurant has a massive choice of beers and ciders. Visitors can sit in the bar’s multiple lounges or head outside to the vast beer garden.

If you’re peckish, the Station also serves traditional home-cooked food like steaks, burgers and seaside classics. It’s also perfect for dog walkers, being extremely canine-friendly.
